The iOS 18.5 Beta 4 update is now available.
The update includes enhancements to the 'Apple Care and Warranty' section within settings, providing more specific device model details.
The beta also hints at the arrival of two new wallpapers. Potential fixes for CarPlay issues, such as music playback and connectivity problems, are included. Internally, a back-end feature called "live storage exclave" has been removed, while a feature flag called "flying unicorn," related to Find My, has been added.
There are also indications of potential refinements to image generation and writing tools, suggested by an entitlement related to Apple intelligence.
Performance is consistent with the previous beta, and significant changes to battery life are not expected until the release candidate build.
The release candidate of iOS 18.5 is anticipated the following week, with the final public version expected the week after.
